Try telling your boss about the things you like, and see how willingly he or she will help you get rid of the things you don’t like. In recent years, great strides have been made in overcoming the traditional adversarial relationship between workers and bosses. At last we’re learning that when we focus on better serving our clients and customers, everybody wins. When you begin to focus on what’s good in your company instead of what you don’t like, you will be amazed how quickly you will have more responsibility, and soon you will be teaching your employees how to do your old job.

Translation

I came up with an idea for "translation" of a concept. For example, I know a lot about fitness and health so I would take a truth from that area and "translate" it into another "language" eg a spiritual concept. I don't work at a company so the above doesn't apply to me - but I do trade - so here is "translating" the phrase to what does apply to me.

From today:

I am looking for people to share their visualizations of abundance. What visualizations to you use when you see yourself being materially abundant? How do you color these visualizations with emotion? Do you include a visualizatioin of yourself trading with ease and perfection? Other ideas? Thanks in advance.

I'm the weird duck. Nothing money can buy or allow me to do is important in life to me. That don't mean I'm going to give it away. I grew up poor, where if we didn't grow it or kill it we didn't eat. To me it's nothing more than a security not really a visual thing.

That is true, I think, to a certain extent.

I believe that the degree to which you let other people pick you up or drag you down depends on how centered you are.

You can still empathize/sympathize for some of your friends who one day may get stuck into a mental loop, or find themselves blaming others for everything, but that does not necessarily mean you too will be like them.

That is a better way of explaining it.

No civilization based upon the unjust treatment of its people has ever endured. A tyrant may force the cooperation of others for a time, but that power is never sustained. When you treat others as you would like to be treated were you in their situation, you will inspire loyalty and enthusiastic cooperation. Set high standards for yourself and others, treat them well, let them do their jobs, and they will perform miracles for you.
