My costs for trading infrastructure, hosting, lines, software, feeds is $120,000/month. Everything seems to be getting more expensive lately.
I was mainly aiming the poll at retail traders and not institutional traders or desks

Hey Gara, I've seen you post elsewhere and it's nice to see you here. I'm guessing that you're working completely on your own? That's a remarkable feat in itself.
P.S.: Yeah, the expenses are getting out of hand. We're "paying" about the same order of magnitude on monthly amortization alone.

I'm paying $60 / month for one of Sam's great VPS and recently added $49 monthly subscription fee for Greg's (Tradervue) journaling application.
Since I own an NT lifetime license, there are no further expenses for platforms, data feeds, etc.

Where do you get your realtime intraday quotes from? Broker?

Yes, I think I forgot to mention that Mirus provides me with Zen-Fire data feed.
@Fadi :
I should also mention that the 'no-cost rule' for Zen-Fire data feed from Mirus only applies if you have at least 5 RTs per month...if not, you'll get charged with $25 inactivity fee if you connect to the data feed during your time of inactivity.

Yeah I saw that on your profile after having submitted my question, sorry.
Unfortunately my IB data feed is not good, and I have to source externally...

Both of those services have discounts for Elite Members, did you use them?

$20 per month over here for globex value bundle via TradeStation.
Stopped paying for ICEUS, EUREX, etc. as I currently trade only the globex futures.
Don't have to pay the $99.95 account service fee per month as I was so far able to meet the minimum criteria (e.g. 10 round turns p.m.).

I'm afraid I didn't...perhaps I should get in touch with both Sam and Greg.
Thanks for pointing that out Mike.
