no here is what I mean for xv3

there are some extra lines on your chart I add clone line color so you can color them. XV3 will draw 2 clone lines only maybe that will be less confusing. No broken line logic for clone lines until I figure out the original logic.

Sorry didnt install revised swingrayvx.cs bc name was same but now I see its swingrayV3, yes lines do make it easier. ty hopefully logic will work out

the swingrayV3 is not able to be used in real time IMO

The CLONEBrokenSwings are the true targets I know you have the 2 prior swing plotting then disappearing but this is misleading. this version clonebroken swings only plot after being broke which is too late if price doesnt break prior swing. I hope this makes sense, in real time it does to me

I think i understand why you came up with the swingrayV3. Bc of coding isues with the plotting of the tickadjust line. What if we had another setting for the tickadjustline to plot, it would exclude (X) number of bars before plotting, Same for naked swing tickadjust lines after (x) bars plot till broken. If during (x) bars forming if price came back to tickadjust line it wouldnt plot. The code would wait for the next swing and try again... More info in attachment.

The (x) bar exclusion will vary from bar type used, the settings need is tickadjust and (x) bar setting

update-yellows broken lines- works well, I know there is a few lines that keep replotting after broken and Im not sure about the logic working correctly on the (x) to plot new swing lines

Red circles are broken, my color for broken is Yellow, these lines with circles never switched color and stop plotting I Dont think (x) logic is working thoughts???

but doesnt those targets look nice, only issue is for one to trade right direction to them :0

edit_Note: I jusy saw that all lines goin up where broke changed color and stopped, going down they didnt but also the swing highs where broke going up not one swinbg low today was broke Ill watch for this tom, thanks again

if you don't want see broken lines set keep broken line = false. Here is the latest.

indicator in post #27 is used in chart, red triangles note some of the bad lines(there repainting or continuing after being broken. occurs on different types of bar range,tick,etc. Occurs on broken and naked lines

This version is ok except for this any thoughts on fix

it should be gone but it wasn't so I run out of ideas to try. Just hit F3 key for ray and draw ray you want to keep your eye on, set my ray color to mute color so they won't be too distracting is all I can think of for now.
