My desktop is OC. Is it worth it for trading? I would say no. Reliability should come before speed IMO for a trading pc. When I was using a OC desktop with fast cable internet for trading my experience was that it was only just slighter faster when it came to load up times I remember timing both my desktop and laptop for a comparison.
That being said I have a dedicated workstation laptop pc for trading and work tasks. My desktop is just my stuff around pc now.
