Code
protected override void OnBarUpdate () { if ( CurrentBar < period ) return; PctB . Set ((( Input [ 0 ] - Bollinger ( StandardDev , Period ). Lower [ 0 ]) / ( Bollinger ( StandardDev , Period ). Upper [ 0 ] - Bollinger ( StandardDev , Period ). Lower [ 0 ])) * 100 ); //Upper BB - Lower BB)/ Middle BB Bandwidth . Set ((( Bollinger ( StandardDev , Period ). Upper [ 0 ]- Bollinger ( StandardDev , Period ). Lower [ 0 ])/ Bollinger ( StandardDev , Period ). Middle [ 0 ])* 1000 ); }
All I did was muliply by 1000 to give a bigger number to look at.

It is highly beneficial for such indicator to have MA applied to the line...in this case Bollindger Bandwidth...for visual comfort....

IHO there is no need for MA applied. Simplicity is some times the best. You want to see the raw change in action

disagree....you can tell by the diminishing distance between 2 lines when the main line is about to change direction...sometimes a little noise is necessary

Hey lads
Trying a new system with bb's.
Using EMA with BB middle on main chart for more accuracy.
Used to do the same with MA on RSI.
Works best for me, only one downer on this system is duration of trends.
CCI would be good but still, ... maybe using volumes would be a thought.
Any ideas some1 with a somewhat likewise setup?

hi shaggy,
the best way to help us to understand what you mean would be :
post some screenshots of your sys / charts + explain it with pictures !
and :
if your question is about programming indicators >> its ok here.
if your question is more about trading >> open a thread in Traders Hideout
>>> https://nexusfi.com/platforms-indicators/
thanks max
