I recall his old messages. I mean, it was fun to see his posts back then, but then things got of control unfortunately... I guessed (just now looking over the messages in this thread) what he means by using an ATM is basically as another indicator.

Such as Netpick's(don't join them! never, and they got other new and old names such as PTU university, Trend Jumper ,keltner bells, SST etc. ) many system variations always under new names. System can function automated but never profitable overall unless one "picks and chooses" or makes up a new "trading plan" to basically filter the signals (fat chance that even works). Then it's a toss up whether it works or not. to me, it's just another indicator if used.
