Just a follow up to the monoprice monitors I bought.

Big mistake. Too new, too many firmware problems coming in and out of energy mode and more than a few hard locks requiring a power cold restart of the monitor. Major PITA.

Now I have to import some new expensive name brand monitors and it will cost a fortune due to taxes...

Well the Dell's are what I should have bought, but the thread was also about what I actually bought.

Yes...the Dell Monitors are Top of the line from what I have read.....I may one day invest in some.
I found the one's I listed in earlier post, and watched prices for some weeks....should have bought them when they were $345....but they only hit that price for couple days....then back to around $500.....I paid $388 today.
I like the 30" size as far as me thinking about all the charts I could fit on there .....these 27" one's may do me for now.
