The quality of the IB data feed is, in my opinion, not good enough for tick charts. Due to the snapshots of this data feed, tick charts only give a false sense of accuracy.

I was wondering what you guys think of MC .NET for TWS. Good, bad, like it or not?
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I have to agree... IB is great for daily charts, bad for everything else when it comes to charting... great for trading to be honest(due to low costs and access to product base) but only as long as you dont use their data for charting or their Level 2/3 for making decisions... best to go with IQFeed for that type of thing...
Sorry to bump an old thread, but it seemed the appropriate thread for my question. Is there a way to trade from a DOM populated by IQfeed, but routing orders to IB?
Do I just need to make sure the symbols are exactly the same in quotanager and the broker? Or is what I want to do impossible due to the DOM being connected to the broker?
