we seem to have similar issues, you and i: overtrading, coming in to late after the signal, anticipating the signal and going in too early, too tight stops, chopped up, isn't it lovely being a beginner?
More than anything, I think it is a product of trading an account that is not large enough. When every stop out creates emotional pain and the desire to get it back immediately, bad things tend to happen. I have had very good runs of multi-week profitable gains. It's when I get in a rut like this it gets ugly. Time for a little head trash removal.
For instance, if I would have followed every rule last week I would have been up $2100 on the TF trading just one contract.
I am going to look at the levels for tomorrow and create a plan to follow on Monday. Stick with the plan and believe in the system. It is a proven winner, I just need to follow it better.
In the meantime, I am going with my son to see the SD Chargers put a beat down on JETS later today. Get away from everything and clear my head.
