My sorry life story to date……… any suggestions……?
Glad to have you here. I believe you'll find that everyone makes an extra effort on futures.io (formerly BMT), we have a special community. I hope to see more of your posts, and eventually you will be in a position to help others here.
I admit to not having read all the replies, but to the OP I would just suggest the following:
-Be open minded; trading, you might find, is miserable and a job/career you may not want.
-If you find you don't enjoy trading, you will find success in other endeavors for sure; traders are a smart bunch.
-Don't beat yourself up about anything. If you don't find success in trading it doesn't mean that you are less of a person for it. At least you could say that you gave it a shot, which is more than some arm chair quarterbacks could ever say.
-Trading will never be easy; but then if it was, it wouldn't be worth doing.
I just read this whole thread. I really can't think of anything to add to it; @ShaunG got some very valuable advice.
I did want to say that I am proud that the futures.io (formerly BMT) community came through so well to help this new guy. It's special, and I'm glad that Shaun has joined it.
