Daily. So what's happening is that tradestation suspends all forex transactions from 3:55PM to 4:05PM. Therefore, when it tries to "buy next bar at open" then order gets rejected... same thing for shorts. I am wondering if I replace "buy next bar at open" with "buy next bar at market", will it help. I really con not go another day like this. This is TRULY a catastrophe that is ruining me. I need a 100% fix for this stupid little issue.
In the future, please be more careful when creating threads and take an extra second to do it better. You created this in Traders Hideout and not in the TradeStation or Easylanguage section. Your thread title of "any help appreciated" is non-descriptive. Imagine 50,000 other threads all titled the same non-descriptive way, it would be chaos.
I am not sure if "next bar market" will help you, but give it a try and report back.
One thing that will help you though is using IntrabarOrdergeneration and sending the order based on your computer time at a specific time. This however is a more advanced task and you should read about how to do it in the information TS provides.
I understand. When I posted to questions box on the home page it put the body text as the title and the title text as the body. So the title was supposed to be "easylanguage code to delay placement of trade by just a minute or two." Maybe I read it wrong? Anyway thanks for fixing.
