@Underexposed maybe you are not the best example because your trading style is different than the majority so you aren't feeling the community support as much?
I've been trying to build the equity side of futures.io (formerly BMT), as well as he swing side. Like I said, I appreciate your thread
I think that is the core of it. I don't feel the community here. On the other hand I also don't feel enmity that is so prevalent on other sites. There is really only one person that I have had much of a dialog with @ratfink and I enjoy discussions with him a lot. Other than one that I choose to ignore, I cannot count the number of threads that I seem to close by commenting on the topic
Yeah that is probably the reason. Thanks for your endorsement of my journal....appreciated
Hi Mike
I in Australia and no ongoing thread on index or aud futures
Can't use tap a talk or ff to access forum via phone, and when away from screens is best time to check out forums
How bout ranking threads in terms of most views or comments last 24hrs
Don't feel I'm missing out by not being an elite member. I make contributions to site, and if they are of value, I prefer they remain accessible to anyone
I just added this thread to the ones I follow, and I noticed I had 155 subscriptions.... now, 156.
This is a lot of reading every day. Most of these threads, of course, are no longer that active, but I do read a lot of stuff. Occasionally I pare down the list, but I add to it too.
Much of it is interesting but not my thing (I do often learn from them anyway), some are right up my alley, some have given me reason to change what I thought my alley was, and in any case there's often some interchange that's worthwhile in some way or another.
There is community here, and many, many different points of view, as well as cordiality and exchange of ideas. No reason that anyone else should make a decision just because of my reasons, but it definitely is there.
Bob.

The actual numbers clearly show non-Elite Members are the minority, not the other way around (when looking at who is active). Right now 307 members on-line, 27 of which are not Elite, everyone else is. I mention this because of the "accessible to anyone" comment to try to show you it doesn't make a lot of sense.
Trading futures and options involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results. You may lose more than your initial investment. All posts are opinions and do not claim to be facts. Please conduct your own due diligence. Use only Risk capital when trading Futures.

I thought I would add my two cents as a recent elite member, I first found this site at the start of this year while searching google for renko alternatives for ninja. At that time I decided not to worry and moved on, I did not really look into any of the forums.
Only last month I wanted to resume my previous strategy ideas and needed a renko alternative. I remembered this site and the elite section downloads, the joining price was worth it for this alone.
Since then I have started spending more time looking through past webinars and reading the trading journals of the experienced traders. This has been really eye opening and greatly beneficial, while it wasn't what i was initially looking for it has become more valuable than the couple of tools i initially joined for.
Special thanks for contributions by FT71 & Peter Davies
