This has been happening to me for a while now. If my connection is interrupted to my broker (IB) then the DOM resets. This also happens if I exit and re-launch Sierra in the middle of the day for some reason.
The high/low markers (blue/red lines at 61.25/59.75) are wrong and get reset. See screenshot:
Basically they start over.
But you can see the VP is maintained correctly. The VP data is coming from IQFeed in another instance of Sierra.
Can one of you guys help me find a solution for this?
I can't replicate the problem with the feed I use in Sierra and the hi/lo print on the DOM is not user configurable in any way - you cannot even disable it.
Go to the copy of Sierra Chart which is connected to IQ Feed and open a chart for that symbol. Select Window >>Current Quote Window. Is the Daily High and Daily Low correct?
Also make sure you have Global Settings >> General Settings >> General 2 >> Use Non-Chart Data from Remote Instances enabled.
In the instance connected to IB, open a chart using the corresponding IB symbol. Go to Window >> Current Quote Window. Are the daily high and daily low, the same as what you see on the Trade DOM?
Yes, same as trade DOM -- which are incorrect values.
If I disconnect right now and reload Sierra, the high and low of day on the DOM will be 1 tick apart (last), in other words it resets on connection break and only shows the high or low of day since my last reconnect.
