MT4 open source? Where is the source code of MT4? Link? Generally, open source refers to a computer program in which the source code is available to the general public for use and/or modification from its original design. Open-source code is typically a collaborative effort where programmers improve upon the source code and share the changes within the community so that other members can help improve it further. As for scam... MT4 virtual dealer plugin for example.

prouser Zurich/Switzerland Posts: 79 since Oct 2014	It rather is scam than not being scam since MT's customers are not MT4 users but the brokers providing MT4/MT5. It's free for a reason. It is not a commercial software. The virtual dealer plugin was created by Metaquotes for the brokers so users have no influence and as such can not refuse it which means whole MT would be a scam. Besides it would be interesting to know what gets send to Metaquotes or to the brokers behind users back (codes for example).
