Hi everyone, first post here. First of all thanks to BM for such a well run forum, and thanks to everyone that posts and makes it such a wonderful resource.

Anyway, how about putting the first 3 posts from new non-Elites into a moderation queue, which a few volunteer mods can approve in addition to BM. Not ideal but shouldn't deter genuine members, and go a long way to stop hit 'n run spamming.

ETA: Looks like another vBulletin forum does it, so it should be technically possible. I can't post the link, but a google for "Explanation of the THREE POST QUEUE for new members" will find it

That would create more work not less.
