I purchased my lifetime license prior to this date, but it was for an IB connection. I later added a multi broker license, although I am not positive of the date. I just opened an AMP account last week. I am wondering if I will be able to use my NT over there as like most of us, I am heavily vested with indicators for NT. I will be very upset if I am forced to use a certain set of brokers as I was never told by NT that I would only be able to use a specific broker. Can anyone in the know weigh in here?
Thanks

NinjaTrader is no longer available at AMP for new customers after March 10th, 2015. Since you purchased a Lifetime license prior to that date you are grandfathered and eligible to switch your license from Interactive Brokers to CQG for use at AMP. Anyone who purchased a NinjaTrader license after the aforementioned date is not eligible to use NinjaTrader at AMP.
That being said, NinjaTrader does not approve, authorize or endorse AMP’s continued use of our brand and trademarks for marketing purposes on their websites. It misleads the public into thinking that the NinjaTrader platform is available for new accounts at AMP. We have asked AMP repeatedly to remove our content but they have refused to do so.
I'm certainly no legal expert, but if you click on ninja trader on their website, the very first thing says "NinjaTrader will no longer be available for new customers after March 10, 2015":
and if you browse through their 60+ platforms, it says pretty clear "existing users":
maybe it's just me, but I don't see how it can be misleading.
You're right. It's not misleading at all. It's very clear on Amp's website.
But to set the record straight, I was the one that specifically recommended Amp to t0030tr so it had nothing to do with their website marketing. He just didn't get the right guy when he called in so there was confusion.
And can we please not tritely throw around a lawsuit comments. LAME We've all had enough of that. Seriously, get over it.
