More about Gary Norden:
Gary Norden's 25 year trading career started at the age of 18 when he became a market-maker of Japanese Equity Derivatives for Yamaichi who were then the 4th largest Japanese investment bank. Three years later he moved to the trading pits of the London Futures and Options Exchange (LIFFE) where he traded as a 'local' options market maker.
At the age of 23 he was appointed Head of LIFFE Options for the UK's then largest bank NatWest. Gary led his team to become a dominant force in STIR options. Gary then headed a futures and options trading desk for Credit Lyonnais Rouse for two years before going out on his own as a futures and options floor trader and consultant - again based on LIFFE.
When futures markets became computerised Gary was among the first wave to make the transition to screen based scalping. In 2001 Gary joined ING Financial Markets to trade Convertible Bonds. In 2003 Gary moved to Australia where he established Organic Financial Group, a trading and consulting firm. He has written two books and writes for publications around the world.
