I thought you guys might want to be social Since I really dislike Twitter and Facebook and all that (am using for marketing only), I thought I'd create a generic "shoot the sh*t" off-topic post, but since we're traders we'll call it "shoot the short". Everyone would rather be long than short, in a perfect world, right?
I added "futures.io (formerly BMT) Twitter" to the end of the topic name so you can get an idea this thread is just social interaction. Nothing of real substance here
A lot of you guys on futures.io (formerly BMT) are sort of like family, I chat with you often in Skype or PM or email or on the forum, so I thought there could be a use in just a more general 'twitter-type' social thread.
I just pre-ordered a media server called "Popbox", check out some stuff at Home | Popbox | Big Screen Everything. It will replace my Roku which I mainly use in my bedroom to stream Netflix crap to "wind down" before bed.
Now with Popbox, I can stream Netflix and also my terabytes worth of vids from my main PC library, which I already use to stream to my home theater setup in my living room. I don't subscribe to satellite or cable, I just get everything I want online in 720p or 1080p, and commercial free, and use my PS3 in my living room (and soon my Popbox in bedroom) to watch it.
Also this is as good of place as any --- to those who sent me PM's and Skype's about my 2-year old lab Molly, she is doing fine and hasn't had another seizure. Thx for the best wishes
Anyone here a Stargate fan? Maybe I'm pushing my luck But I really am enjoying the Stargate Universe franchise so far, it seems SG-1, Atlantis, and now Universe are really doing great. Too bad Star Trek itself has been off the air for so long...
