I have a question for you and I would appreciate an opinion of some experienced trader.
I have started trading FDAX on my demo account with NT. I would like to post stats from NT but it does not record my trading for some reason. Anyway.
I have a strategy that is kind of aggressive on entries ( which is an issue) as I do not have conformation before entering trade.
Now I have back tested the strategy, got over 300 trades. Backtest of one week in December 2015 generated 196 trades with success rate of 67%. The trades that I was not sure about were taken as losers. Now biggest drawdown was 4 losers in a row or out of 10 trades 6 lost. This has happened only once. Highest drawdown was between 30 -40 points.
Overall strategy produced around 25-30 points profit per a day on that week. I was also accounting for a slippage which was around 1/3 - 1/4 of the bar. Only one day ended up with a loss of around 40 points.
Now, live demo testing is much better, I got overall over 120 trades on live demo. The most consecutive loser is 2 at around 20-30 points. Overal on live I am running between 72 and 75 success rate between days. Average profit per a day is at around 45 points. This is all without trailing stop, which is having very high profits. They ocure on average every 3 or fourth trade.
I had exact stats in excel however it got deleted for some reason.
I am stating to think to go live with this but I am not 100% sure. The issue is money and risk management where I will be lucky to put together between 5 to 10K in dollars. Day margin is $2500 intraday per contract, that's what ninja told me.
Can I have your opinion on if to go live or not? Or shuld I bactest more?
