Ninja support level 2 contacted me today and set me up with a test data acct. It's a Kinetick feed.
Thanks so much @sam028 for the idea to look in the Event Viewer.
My time zone is US Central, Chicago suburbs to be exact. The session template or Trading Hours is the stock one assigned to whatever instrument in the Instrument Manager....so for ES it would be CME US Index Futures ETH.xml etc etc.
Here is the video of the crash with the Ninja Level 2 test data acct....
Please forgive me I'm hugely sick really taking a beating...fever between 100.8-103.8F, lungs full of junk etc just got antibiotics today.

I think whatever is the reason, the application should not crash, under no circumstances...
That is most likely something that is not well coded (exception)

Received this email from Ninja support today.......
This is truly wonderful news. I have been working with this issue for many weeks. It wasn't until I provided very detailed step by step videos that the event was able to be reproduced by NinjaTrader support.

This is a bad bug.. Although i feel you're pain, I was happy to find another person that sees the same issue.
I've seen it in the beta versions, RC1, RC2, 8.0.1 and 8.0.2.
I've been working with the NT suppport desk too, but they have so far been unable to replicate this on their end.
I see the 2 bars (or the weird 3 bars) using Kinetic data and/or Continuum data.
I can replicate on demand at the open of the ETH session, which is 11pm here in London.
I was able to replicate:
- whilst running in safe mode
- re-resetting the instrument list and repairing the database
- after using a clean database
- after completely un-installing and re-installing NT8
My last hope was to try and syn my PC time to the NT time server, which I was going to try tonight before the open.
Did you try this step to ?
It looks like your support representative was able to replicate this.
Do you have any more information (development reference number) on this issue by any chance?

Yes...Jason at NT support was able to replicate it once as far as I know. I have not had to chance to work on this in a little bit with finishing up my project here at home as documented in my journal but finally got the vehicles back in the garage yesterday from being in the driveway for the last 4 months and then our Disney trip. But my garage is awesomely clean and the wife is finally happy with its condition....lol...
Jason last communication with me was regarding using the Default 24/7 or Default 24/5 session template, can't remember which one, as opposed to the session template I use, CME Index Futures ETH. This is what I have not yet tried. But IMHO I want to use the session template I want and this should not matter honestly.
If you can please keep in communication here in this thread and together we can have a great influence with NT and making NT8 better.
If you can please ask your NT8 support rep to speak with Jason as he has I good understanding IMHO regarding this issue.
Well done on the garage and Disney trip mate ! Sounds fun
I am using the default templates for CME US Index Futures ETH and this does not fix the problem.
The issue is also visible on other futures products like currency futures too.
I ll try syncing the clock tonight, although I am bearish here. I ll revert with any relevant additional information.
I'll also ask my rep to reach out to Jason, I am in touch with Shawn about this one.
Hi Blash.... I was having trouble with memory builds and crashes as well.... They released 8.0.2.0 just after the "Official Release" and it seemed to take care of my crashes. I dont use day chart or Rithmic....Maybe the newer revision will help...
There appears to be a serious issue with the Day chart on my system as well...It is different than your problem.. it just never brings in a day chart on mine... Have you tried using Hour 24 or Minute 1440 instead???
