I searched a bit on the forum on meditation. A few threads with focus on meditation were created in the past and the topic was mentioned a few times by @FuturesTrader71 in some of his webinars that I watched on the forum in the past.
From time to time, people mention meditation as part of their preparation work.
Tomorrow I will participate in an introduction on transcendental meditation.
I will share in this thread my experience and if I can see any edge in applying this technique in my work/trading.
It is a free introductory live session (face 2 face, with other participants)

The reason i bumped into this, is somebody (who knows me very well) told me to do
i started googling it and bumped into the intro-session (few months ago), as time flies
it is tomorrow morning
If it feels good, i don't mind spending some $$$ on it and going through the learning
curve, not everything is about 'hard' skills, it is also about 'soft' skills...
I occasionally meditate in the mornings when I feel that I am not as balanced as normally for a couple of days.
To be honest, am not doing it frequently enough to really say that it's helping but the fact that I keep coming back to it at times of unease at least means I don't consider it worthless.
On the other hand, when I was doing it continuously for about a month or so, I didn't really feel the benefits that are so passionately described in the interwebz. Which might have to do with that I consider myself (and am considered by others) as a calm and well-adjusted person.
Only thing that gets me worked up at times is this... TRADING
