Being honest, my mindset is still not where it should be, so I am going to spend some time with the Lord, relax and not think about trading until the morning. I will also catch up on reading everyone's journals then, when my mindset has been totally rebooted so to speak. I hope everyone else had a "Great trading day!" If you learn anything from reading this brief post at all, it should be that the most important ingredients to being successful in trading are your mental outlook or mindset as well as your discipline to follow your plan and not your emotions. Really, reading the charts is the simple part of trading in my humble opinion!

Man i know what you feel!! It happened to me too with a small 1000 € account when i was trading forex (EUR/USD mostly). I was looking for shorting a bear flag setup and let a sell stop limit up. Then a friend came visit me and we had some beers. I woke up and realized that the STL I placed the night before had no protective stop. BOOOM! account down from €1500ish to 147€ due to extreme high leverage.

Pissed me off for days.

I needed a good start after all that and I am glad I got it. I took this 2LF on 6E with 3 contracts for $187.50 in my TopStep Trader account. Two more positive trades and I will call it a day.

A little scary. I have lost internet connectivity 3x and the last 10 minutes. I passed on a trade because of it and am a little gun shy right now.

I just lost internet connectivity for a 4th time and it lasted way too long. I will try again in the morning and hopefully whatever the problem is it is resolved by then.

For me as a price action trader, using range results on a hard to read chart. I dont see entry points, i can't make any idea of where the price will go. How do you base your strategy on 8 range charts?

I had the perfect trade on 6J but I forgot to switch out of sim with all those problems of lost connectivity last night I rebooted my computer and forgot to switch to TST account - lol

I love range bars for price action and use to use them all the time with nothing else. I will share later but am trading now and already made 1 blunder - lol

One was in my live account on the ES which was a loss and the other was in TST on 6E which was a positive trade.
