That is only for making purchases or sending money via the bitcoin network. You do not trade on the network. You trade on the exchange. Right, you do not actually trade on the bitcoin network. Think about it, you would be sending bitcoin back and forth-- a bitcoin is a bitcoin and the network would never be able to handle the traffic. You are not trading bitcoin for bitcoin (which makes no sense )-- but you are trading bitcoin for something else, such as dollars, when you trade on the exchange. It is just like …
