Bleh...worst market condition for me is the slow melt-up or slow melt-down, with constant back-filling. I can do ok in a volatile trend, or in a straight consolidation. But those angled consolidations kill me. Anyway, I was targeting Last week's -vwap the whole night @1.1815. Just couldn't do it.
I finally did it with the big contract, even though it doesn't count for the competition.

Decent day, only three trades and one of them was unintentional LOL.
@jackbravo yeah, I hate days like today too... so much time spent churning around with very few real moves to speak of; I had a difficult time getting a read on anything until after the fact.
Two impatient entries this morning. First one was very impatient. Second one is moderately impatient, but might still work out. Looking for a return to the scene of the crime.
On a bright note, I sent a very confused and irritated email to NT8 about their response saying the historical 6E data would be forever missing... turns out they forgot to tell me a key piece of info.
So all should be resolved eventually, just have to keep staring at this imaginary gap for one more week. And not use any trend lines across that period, because the time dimension on my charts is totally out of whack.
Nice to see you get in in that run down... it certainly had some momentum. Looks like it's running out of steam. I was in there, but damn, one contract at a time is tough. I maybe need to lift that rule.
LOL whoops! Sorry, I misread your chart, thought you were short! So used to looking at Sierra...
I'm flat, waiting to see what's gonna happen at 39 right now... tried to get short at 49 but didn't get filled on a limit order. Thinking maybe a long at 32.
Edit: failed test at 39, double bottom on M5... hmmmm... lots of indecision here.
A decent day, summary is in the screenie. Trying to focus on consistency and cutting the losers short so that I can retain as much as I can. Missed a few opportunities later in the day because we were out running around, but I'll take what I can get.
@jackbravo, sorry you're having such a rough time, but you can turn things around. Take some time, figure out why you're in a funk, get your head screwed on straight and come back at it man.
