Debating on Elite Membership; Need Indicators Coded in C++
Hey man. Reading that I'd encourage you to hang around and read what you can. Since I am not sure the difference ask @Big Mike, our host and very knowledgeable screen trader, what the difference is.
Also consider that your background will be a tremendous asset to many participants here. I am certain that you will find someone with the specific skills you need to build out automation of appropriate areas of your method...someone that has a need for resources that your experience could provide. I'd almost guarantee a quid pro quo of that sort in short time here.
Of course I have two ideas. Read the posts of or reach out to @artemiso . Also on the neural network side search up a guy named Earik Beann, pronounced Bean. He is brilliant, legit, and probably accessible. A platform that he developed called Wave 59 had/has the most enticing work on the topics you have mentioned that I have ever seen available to the retail side of the street.
reading these last few posts you will get a very clear idea of the type of personality and typical discussion on this forum.
I agree with everything the prior two posters stated.
My own attempts to automate cost me many thousands. That process dragged me through many different indicators, the attempted adoption of which, cost me more.
Keep in mind that when I showed up here I had no need to trade, I was essentially retired. The mental block, psychology type issues are where I found the greatest deliverance from the delusional parts of my hallucination (read dream) of seven or eight digit months...as that was the only reason to work as hard as I was.
Frankly, some of the best insight came from guys that had no idea about trading. Some guys seek a following, some want to be right. Many never post or go very deep when they do. Lots of people do not even remember reality as you can create any persona you want in social media.
Thank you to everyone on the boards. Be well and do well.
If you take a look at Kaggle results, you'll find that DNN always win for highly structured problems like computer vision then much less so for time series problems. There's theoretical reasons why this is the case.
I won't comment on paying for membership since there's no preview content and I feel it defeats the purpose if I comment on that content.
kaggle is not a competition to gain any useful information for machine learning. kaggle is a perfect example of whats wrong with machine learning. the whole premise is flawed by selection bias.
