If you can consistently beat the market you are doing better than the majority of fund managers.

Thanks, good point. I think that the problem for many is that when you have a small account 12% isn't very exciting.

Even with a $50,000 account, 12% is only $6,000 per annum.

This is why so many are attracted to futures trading, the leverage can enable a small account to earn much more than 12%. The problem is the leverage can blow up your account as well!
