Where is the actual "CPU" of the CME or CBOT exchange, I want pics..
CME Group Co-Location Services offers connectivity, hosting, and support for electronic trading equipment. Located 35 miles from CME Group headquarters, in Aurora, IL, the state-of-the-art data center houses customer equipment in addition to the trade matching engines for all CME Globex products.
According to my research the place/company it's located at is called "Cyrus One" and it is not owned by CME group, strange, perhaps CME group just rents or some absract setup.
I think what it means is they have their stuff there (trade matching engines) and they sell the rest of the place to HFT's who want minimum latency and charge them a fortune.
Sure CME will outsource this stuff to get rid of any liabilities.
