+$500 Waited for the channel to form and a pullback on the new day. This time I stuck with the overall trend.

Last night + This morning: $1250 gross profit: This morning, I traded the pullback to the VWAP and average of the channel. The overall direction was up and then created a small range.

+$1000 Market re-traces toward a lower price

I am taking the morning off to look at my trading stats. TraderVue and Jigsaw both have nice trade stats you can use. I have been listening to Fooled by Randomness during my morning walk/runs. Many times, the market just moves back and forth. The news tries to find a reason but who knows. It is like a giant fractal that constantly changes with each new input. One thing I am trying to improve is trading what I see and not what happened in the past. I have read the Norden materials and they make sense. I still use the DOM and the chart together. I look for the general direction (past) and current action (DOM).

+$500 target of 4 ticks The ES tends to go in one direction at the start of the evening and then reverses.

Another $500 for $1000 total for the evening. There were almost 400 lots sitting on the Ask. I joined in on a short.

Last night + today: $2000 Just trading retracements to supports and continuation is the plan today.

+$500 to start the session. I am biased to shorting but I wanted to stay with the main trend.

+$2500 for the overnight + morning. I am still working on reading the market better. I have read that we should be watching the market everyday just like a regular job getting the feel for the changes. I am still concentrating on the ES for now.
