im just sorry im the one that has to be the messenger...

Instrument List thing will be fixed in next version, coded it now, so I can't forget to protect it....
Also found a bug where screen is not updated, will solve that in a minute...

I am eager to test that now!

Perhaps just one tiny little issue:

The transactions don't get overwritten by the import from old journal. If there are none, I have to fix them manually.
Oh and btw, loading data from an old journal does not work on Mac. Could it be caused by the absence of generic windows win32 api constructs:-))) ? I don't know if anything can be done with it...

MS could have made excel multi-platform. As such it is only limping.


After using the importer, the new lines are accepted, but i get a following error report upon opening the result:

ok here is another issue. im trying to test out if the decimal places migration works in beta 27. if i take a fresh beta 27 and import my stable 3.0 version into it and set the decimal places to the way i like(3.0 didnt have this) then save and close this beta 27, im not able to import this beta 27 into another fresh beta 27. it tells me import failed..

I will set transactions to zero in that case.

I can't do anything about Mac compatibility as excel for Mac is afaik not vba compatible.

Could you trace the error down somewhat more precisely? Most things I could probably fix by vba...
