Hey alexman, I have had both of them. I was with RCG for a few years and never had a problem with them at all, but my introducing broker swicthed from clearing through them to Dorman about 1.5 years ago and switched all his clients over to them mainly because Dorman offers the zenfire data feed and RCG doesn't. Since being with Dorman for over a year now no problems here either. Hope that helps.

Don't know why your IB made this choise, maybe for it's convenience, cos with Mirus Futures u can use ZenFire clearing thru RCG.

Take your Pips, go out and Live.

RCG is bigger than Dorman, but this alone mean nothing, both have good reputation.
A thing I know is that with Dorman u can go directly and have the same commission and margin like an IB, with RCG I don't think.

Take your Pips, go out and Live.
Luke.

I you're the type of person that likes to confirm in real-time that your trades cleared properly or that your account balance is what you expect it to be, then go with RCG. With Dorman, you need to wait until around midnite eastern time for this info to update.
