If you wanted to trade on one machine, and do development work on another. I only have one MC license, so I'd assume one instance could be running only.
I have 2 instances of Tradestation, for example. It is pretty nice...
I am currently running an automated algo in Multicharts that I am trading in a worldwide real money contest (google "World Cup Of Futures contest"). Their broker would not work with Tradestation, so I had to open an account with a MultiCharts compatible broker. I am using Tradestation data to drive the Multicharts chart.
My primary weapon is Tradestation, but I also run Multicharts and NinjaTrader too.
Hey @kevinkdog , just to clarify: are you are using the strategy automation engine in MultiCharts, just using the TradeStation data feed? This is how I do it when testing between the two platforms.
