You can take one of the built-in strategies and start from there, apply it to a Renko chart. However, you should learn everything you can about Renko charts (especially how they are built in TradeStation), and learn about writing strategies in EasyLanguage.
Do not be fooled by the great results you might get from a strategy on Renko. You see only half (approximately) of the price action on a TradeStation Renko chart.
Thanks for answering. Do you recommend any material to learn about renko in TradeStation and EasyLanguage. I’ve been working on it but it’s really confusing. Thanks!
There is no documentation specific to Renko and TradeStation, as far as I know.

This is how my wife learned. I learned by reading her course materials. This was a long time ago (10+ years), and I learned mostly by self-teaching. This will help you learn the platform, EasyLanguage, etc. I don't know if they still charge for the education (we paid).

Search Renko and TradeStation or EasyLanguage.... you will find some interesting threads.
If you get the point of writing strategies, I strongly recommend the writings of Kevin Davey (@kevinkdog ). Building Winning Algorithmic Trading Systems is his book that helped correct a lot of mistakes we were making in developing strategies. I took his Strategy Factory course in January and it was the best money I've spent in trading education, by far (plus I got rebates from TS that are basically paying for the course).
Note: I have no financial interest in any of the above resources. These are just things I have found helpful and valuable.
