New to Sierra Charts, downloaded yesterday and learning quite a bit so far. I started a thread a while ago and someone posted a study for a Weis Wave variant. Last post on first page, post #10.
I copied and pasted it into my Sierracharts/Data folder but when I go to Add Custom Study, it doesn't show up. It may be because I accidentally started a free trial a few months ago and it has since ended. I only show EUR/USD daily historical chart. But I have been able to do everything except connect to data. Anyone know why it doesn't show up in Add Custom Study?
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
It's not in either place.I now have 2 files in my download folder, one is a .cpp and the other is a STDYCOLLCT file. I moved the cpp file to Sierracharts/Data. Should I have moved the STDYCOLLCT file there instead?
I moved the STDYCOLLCT file to the data folder I found it in both places you posted, but all it does is add another regular volume on the bottom. IDK if I'm doing something wrong or what.
Last night one time it showed in chart studies 3 or 4 different studies but on the chart it was a mess. This morning it adds nothing. Error message currently no data in file to display and unexpectedly encountered the end of file.
