This is a good deal, you basically get Motivewave orderflow (not sure if they have added anything) package for $35 a month vs 55 straight from the vendor. Plus you get a good broker and great customer support.
Actually its even better, looking at the "trading features" presented in their website, its the full version.
You can see that there are features not in the "order flow edition".
Yes, Morad (@FuturesTrader71) has said in one of his webinars they acquired the base code and will be making improvements/custom changes as time passes.
I can also vouch for their quality as a broker. I work with Ian Blanke who has been SUPER helpful since day one. I cannot recommend him enough.

About Morad Askar:
Morad Askar began as a high frequency NASDAQ equities day trader in 2000. He moved to Chicago to a prop firm to be a high volume futures scalper at the CBOT. He is a member of CME Group and a licensed Eurex Trader, and started his own prop firm in 2003.
In 2009, Morad began to explore the online trading environment and popularized the concept of Volume Profiling as a way of tracking the market auction and trading based on the market narrative. He has gained a large social media following on Twitter and a large subscriber base on YouTube. He does a daily live broadcast at 9 AM ET called the Trader Bite on YouTube which lays out his perspective on what is likely to take place. He is well known online as FuturesTrader71 (FT71).
Morad launched Convergent Trading in 2018 to focus his experience running a prop firm to bring the tools, structure and focus to those how are serious about being career professional traders. He also started Edge Clear as a brokerage in 2020; an independent futures brokerage with an award-winning team.
Family time and global travel are Morad's favorite ways of spending time.
About Max Timmins:
Max began his career in 2011 as a Jr. Broker while studying Finance in Chicago and quickly rose to Senior Broker. Max specializes in the online brokerage community with proven ability to identify new opportunities, create plans to capitalize on them, and follow through to successful completion.
Morad is a well respected online trader and business owner, also known as FuturesTrader71 (aka FT71), who began trading in 2000 Max has a proven ability to identify opportunities, create plans to capitalize, and follow through to successful completion.
I watched the webinar and the EdgeProX platform looks like it has potential. It has a clean modern look vs Sierra Chart and it appears to have all the tools pro-traders need like MP, Heat Map and Orderflow.
I currently use NinjaTrader with the IB license, and IQFeed for quotes. With that being said I'm less than satisfied with NinjaTrader as they are very slow to update simple requests that other vendors seem to provide out of the box, so I'm searching for viable alternatives.
I have been a fan of Morad (FT71) going back to his original website FT71, and why I was interested in EdgeProX.
I looked over the EdgeClear website and I have to admit that although the platform looks good, the website appears scattered, and requires digging deep for information which is sparse.
With NinjaTrader all I need is IB to clear my trades, hold my funds, IQF for data and I'm good to go.
It appears with EdgeClear there is a laundry list I have to go through just to get started? My concerns are many.
Where are the instructions to connect to IQF?
Why is Rithmic better than IQF for this platform? What's the advantage (I'm willing to switch but why is not made clear?) What are the data fees?
Who holds the funds? EdgeClear or one of the 3 FCMs? With the FCMs what is the purpose then of EdgeClear?
Why do I need to call to decide which FCM I need? The answer should be right there on the website.
Is there going to be mentoring like was done at Stage5?
What are the basic commissions?
Where's the manual for the software?
Why do I have to give my phone number to demo the software or get a commission rate? Why is email not good enough? I have found in the past giving out a phone number results in pressure cooker calls to get you to open an account.
The EdgeProX platform looks good it appears modern with a polished look and feel. It looks like basic customization is good.
More information needs to be made available how EdgeClear, EdgeProX, and EdgeWatch integrate.
A need for a more streamlined step by step process for opening an account is needed IMHO.
I'm interested in a demo, but the mandatory need for a phone number for a trial is a deal breaker.
Thank you for the post. Great to hear you are interested in testing out EdgeProX. We look forward to hearing your feedback on the platform.
Thank you for your comment on the website. We will look into this and see if we can create a better experience. We are always driving to improve! 😊
Please find some answers to your questions below:
Where are the instructions to connect to IQF?
When you start up EdgeProX, there will be an option to select IQFeed as your data provider. Enter in your username & password here. As long as the IQFeed Connection Manager is running, you should be able to connect.
Why is Rithmic better than IQF for this platform? What's the advantage (I'm willing to switch but why is not made clear?) What are the data fees?
You can find the data fees through the following link: https://support.edgeclear.com/portal/en/kb/articles/market-data-costs
We also believe IQFeed is the best charting data feed in the industry. However, IQFeed is NOT an execution feed. Meaning you need an execution feed to route your orders to the exchange. This is where Rithmic or CQG come into play for EdgeProX. If you use Rithmic, then this will be your execution as well as your real time data feed.
We believe Rithmic is one of the better data feeds due to its MBO (Market By Order) capabilities. This allows you to get the full order book. Data on where you are in the order queue. The ability to see the block orders in the queue. The ability to accurately consolidate trades to see the true order flow. Also, we have what we believe to be the lowest transaction fee for Rithmic on the market.
Who holds the funds? EdgeClear or one of the 3 FCMs? With the FCMs what is the purpose then of EdgeClear?
Edge Clear is an introducing broker. We are your advocate and we assign a personal broker to you who will always be your point of contact. No voice attendants and inconveniences. Introducing brokers never hold customer funds. FCM's hold customer funds and supply statements to members. Most FCM's act as exchange liaisons for Introducing Brokers.
As an Introducing Broker, Edge Clear has the opportunity to work with multiple FCM’s and access to many different solutions. We are also better-equipped to handle any issues. Depending on what you are looking for, we would clear you through a specific FCM.
Why do I need to call to decide which FCM I need? The answer should be right there on the website.
There are many different scenarios and specific requirements from traders. Different FCMs offer different features and services. So we tailor the experience. You do not need to call us. If you want to open up an account with one of our FCM’s, you can choose whichever one through the following link which also shows what they do and don't offer: https://edgeclear.com/open-account/
Is there going to be mentoring like was done as Stage5?
This was a feature that was exclusively offered by @FuturesTrader71 when he was there. He is now the founder of Edge Clear. We do not offer this service through Edge Clear. However, we believe we are exceptional at monitoring your risk and offering solutions with a clear understanding of what an online trader's needs are. We do not have mentoring available at this time.
What are the basic commissions?
Commission vary depending on contracts traded and volume. You can find the commission rates by filling out the following form on our website: https://edgeclear.com/commissions/
Where's the manual for the software?
Please contact us here and we will supply you with a manual.
Why do I have to give my phone number to demo the software or get a commission rate? Why is email not good enough? I have found in the past giving out a phone number results in pressure cooker calls to get you to open and account.
We completely understand your concern. Please feel free to enter in a different number if you do not wish to provide it. It isn't necessary for a demo. You can enter in 555-555-555 for example. However, Edge Clear has specific prohibitions on high-pressure sales. Our brokers seek to align with you and your needs rather than to push you to open an account. We don't believe this is a good experience for anyone. If our offering (which we believe is the best available) is not good enough for you, then we support you in finding what you need elsewhere. We are always open to your return.
We hope this helps answer your questions! If there is anything we can do to help, please let us know.
Have a great week!
