hi everyone , i am a beginner and i have been doing paper trading for 2 years now. For my trading strategy I use the usual indicators, which are actually available free of charge in every platform. But there is only one thing that I am missing for my happiness. I have more success using the built-in chart trader in NT 8 but I don't want to pay $ 1000 for it to trade live in the near future. That's just too much at the beginning. Alternatively, I can also implement my strategy in MT5. Here the total cost for my system is $ 50. However, I am not a fan of the MT5 and in many cases prefer the NT8.
Question: is there an alternative for the chart trader in NT8? The developer of the ATM Click Trader is not supposed to be fair (for example no trial period is offered) so I prefer to keep my hands off it. I would spend the price range up to $ 200 for an alternative. Can someone help me or does someone have a tip? Thanks in advance.
I don't know any alternatives for NT8. You can't use strategy in a free version to make WPF buttons on chart or chart trader to send orders. Indicators can't send orders, you need a strategy.
You reminded me of myself years ago. I also refused to pay $1k for license. But I used NT7 at that time. Entering orders with DOM wasn't funny at all, especially in a fast market

There is no business like trading with such a low entry cost and high opportunity potential. But, this business is one illusion after another. Spend the $1k. It will be good for you. You'll do it sooner or later anyways if trading is in the cards for you. Otherwise there are many other businesses to look into.
I've lost well over $50k starting out. Part of the deal.

Search YouTube for Joe DiNapoli and watch his 4 videos.
of course i have already looked for alternatives myself. They are:
- Click Trader by The Indicator Club LLC: Homepage no longer exists
- Quick Trade Ninja by Simply Technology LLC: way too expensive. Then I would put the rest on top and buy NT8
- ATM Click Trader by Dimension Trader LLC: the developer has a bad reputation, it has already been written about here in the forum
- Clicker by Volaty Trading: I will test it now. but it doesn't have everything I need.
Basically, I just need a trading pad that offers me the different buy / sell buttons and the ability to set an S / L and T / P in advance.
- BlackBird Ultimate edition by SharkIndicators: they don't reveal a price. The app looks good, but it's likely going to be too expensive and no better than NT's CT.
So you are using NTB as you broker? otherwise you have to pay for NT anyway if you want to use it for live trading.
If so - you could also lease NT for a 3 month and proof yourself - you have to do the math what are your roundturn savings compared to the free version.
I'm still thinking about which broker I will use. The rental costs for the NT are 75.00 per month (3 month variant) I'm still thinking about it. It's not too much money, but already expensive compared to other platforms (e.g. SC). maybe I'll use the MT5 after all and will pimp it with some add-ons. I'll test a few ideas next week. After that I definitely know where I'm going.
it's kind of ridiculous that there is no real alternative for the CT in NT8 or that they are overpriced.
just my 2 cnts
