Welcome to this exciting personal space, dedicated to unraveling the mysteries of the NQ market. Throughout this journal, I will delve deep into the captivating world of iceberg orders and hidden volume, revealing how these seemingly invisible elements can significantly impact my choices and outcomes when using 500-tick charts.
Financial markets are intricate ecosystems where key players employ a variety of tactics to gain advantages over other participants. One such tactic involves manipulation through iceberg orders and hidden volume. These terms encompass splitting large buy or sell orders into smaller blocks. The objective is to avoid abrupt price movements against me, which could alert me and adversely affect the execution of my trades.
In this context, the NQ market becomes the perfect stage to study these strategies in action. Using 500-tick charts, which represent transaction flow in greater detail, I can discover patterns, trends, and situations that might go unnoticed on broader timeframes.
Throughout this journal, I will share insights, analyses, and concrete examples of identifying and addressing these manipulation zones.

Entered a new long again in the log manipulated zone, put the Target inside the manipulation zone but get the stop. Trade was ok, but the target was in a turning point place, maybe better below the manipulation zone. Lesson learned: don't put targets inside manipulation zones.
Using a new manipulation zone to get a short trade. Too many hidden volume traders in the zone, but see the zone and take the trade. No clear target, most than the previous hidden volume area. Target hit...
