I completely disagree. Sure there could be a few small similarities like with any learning process, but there are HUGE differences: 1. There are well established methods of teaching guitar playing. Not so much about trading. 2. Psychology plays a huge part in trading, not so much in guitar learning. 3. If you put in enough practice hours, you will be at least a somehow decent guitar player. I've been playing guitar all my life and never learned how to completely master it. I hope my trading career doesn't turn out the same. Or maybe you never actually master it, only keep learning.
