I compute various values in my spreadsheet (I use lotus 123 but I could move them to Excel or to a csv file).
I would like to be able to move these values into the Ninja indicator automatically (I currently type them in).
I have several ES charts of different time frames and I put some values in one and some in another.
Here is an example of a 3 minute ES chart with the values
1284.50
1282.00
1278.50
1276.00
The dotted lines are these values which I have entered into the Constant Lines indicator (I used Ninja 6.5)
many thanks,
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Sam, i don't mind if you share it with the community. That would be my gift for all the good things i got from this group of gentlement. So go ahead make a nice package and put it into the download section.
To define the zones, you use Excel and copy/paste into a text file:
Ex.:
The final result after pasting the above content copied from Excel should look like this :
When you copy/paste lines that comprise many columns, Excel insert a TAB between these columns automatically. This is how the indicator recognises the start of a new column. Here i used a comma for the price level and to define the height but on a US system you use a dot.
So what you have shown is the steps to create the parameters file which is then ready to be read by the indicator that is forthcoming shortly, (correct)?
If you use the indicator on two different charts with two different parameters files does that work?
(I had trouble matching the graph to the parameters file perhaps there are of different days eg. poc 1281.5 versus 1225 see attached)
