I'm trying to import a ninjascript and ninja says that I have a custom script with an error that must be resolved before I can. (probably one of my failed attempts to code!) how do I find it and delete it so I can use the import utility again?

Open up any indicator /strategy and do a compile.. In the compile errors at the bottom of the editor there is usually the name of the script that has the problem....
