I am not talking about the datafeed itself, my question is directed to the new eSignal 11 charting app with the DOM trading. I have tried it a little (I am eSignal user) and look to hear other people's opinions.
i tested it and still use 10.6. i think it will took some more weeks to get 11 stable. in the esignal forum they mentioned to release 11.1 at the end of feb. actually 11 looks really fantastic but crashes nearly every 10 minutes. and a lot of features are missing. i wait for chart-trading and running more than one instance. the handling for alarms is not as good as in 10.6.
thanks for sharing your experience. it really looks very good, we can only hope they will add all the missing features soon. i've tested for about two weeks and it did not crash even once (tried both 32 and 64 bit versions). what it does is it keeps disconnecting from my broker, strange. it also eats a lot of memory (ram). i am definitely looking to future updates (chart trading, p$f charts, ...).
i do not use esignal for trading, never did. i use esignal data with other charting applications (investor r/t, updata) and my main trading and charting application is cqg integrated.
however i am more and more looking to the esignal 11. if they can get rid of the current problems and add the features in the future, i may seriously thing to use it.
