i am currently using tradingcoders tdt trending tsf, which i downloaded from their site.i tried to email them, twice, with no response.i wish there was a phone #. There is an indicator for ninja called ma slope box multi, which enables us to determine the slope of the ema.i would like to do this for the tct indicator.any info is appreciated
thanks, bobby
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
thats above my head!!
heres the thing, the tct trending indicator, is different than a moving avg.ive tried to match an ma to it, with no luck.i like the simplicity of haveing the slope degree in the bottom corner of my chart, and i use it to enter, or stay out of a trade
if you don't have the source code of tct it will be difficult to apply the mentioned function, the only way is as you mentioned to replicate it. Once you have found the way you replace your indicator in the function. Maybe sending some pics of tct can help some of us.
Please next time can you refer the website for your indicators TrendingTSF it is easier and time saving. Find attached both indicators you only need to go in the NT utility and import them. To recall them from your chart you need to add TCT adn Tslope as in the image attached.
The reason I didn't incorporate the slope into the original indicator or include the indicator in the archive is because of the wishes of the original author to not redistribute his indicator. You might want to remove it from the .zip. Another note, I set the slope indicator to always calculate on the current bar. The TCTrendingTSF indicator calculates on bar close. On applying to charts, one or the other needs to have the setting changed or they will not be working on the same bar.
thank you Dan, it looks like what i was looking for.As far as i know, trading coders doesnt have this(they created tsf).Do you know of a version for ninja 6.5?Also, if you scroll backto earlier bars, the slope will not change
