We've got a couple big milestones coming up. There will be a party and prize giveaways
The first is reaching 100,000 posts. It will probably happen around the very end of March. The second is our two year anniversary in June. 100,000 posts is quite an accomplishment for a forum that is only 21 months old!
I am thinking of giving away some iPad's and a bunch of trading books thru Amazon. I'll post the details as we get closer.
I also wanted to just record that today Feb Tue 2/8 we tied our previous posting record set on January 13th, which is 410 new posts. Yesterday was also the busiest day ever in terms of how many unique registered members logged on to futures.io (formerly BMT) (1,124). futures.io (formerly BMT) also gets about 2,500 unique unregistered people visiting each day, for a total of over 3,500 unique people a day on average.
While I look forward to seeing 500 post days in our near future, I am continually working to make sure futures.io (formerly BMT) maintains its helpful, positive, forward-thinking attitude which makes us a very unique destination for traders on the web. Please also take a minute and thank the Moderators for all the work they do to help me out: @sam028, @max-td, @LukeGeniol. Thx guys!
Big Congrats on this Mile Stone!

Trading futures and options involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results. You may lose more than your initial investment. All posts are opinions and do not claim to be facts. Please conduct your own due diligence. Use only Risk capital when trading Futures.

Congrats to you and the mods Mike . I gotta say that Im proud of you since you have maintained a very clear focus for this place and it looks like you will for a long time . You dont see that very much and its nice to be a part of nexusfi.com (formerly BMT) .
Mike, gotta say finding this forum was a god send....but it was a bit of a trap as well. What? There are so many free things here that I got lost in the all eye candy at first. It was entirely to easy to holy grail chase on the forum.
BUT it was much better than paying a whole bunch of gurus to do the same thing so I guess its a double edge sword.
I have made some good friends here on the forum and look forward to more.
Thanks so much for the site....

Sometime Wednesday Feb 16th we'll hit 90,000 posts on the forum. Just 10k shy from the big 1-0-0 k, expected sometimes towards the end of March.
I'm trying to think of some creative prizes and how to give them away for the 100k mark, if you have any thoughts let me know.
Right now I am leaning towards another Appreciation Contest for the month of March, which is probably when we'll hit the 100k mark, and kinda rolling it all together into one promotion. Reason behind tying them together is simply that it is the frequent posters that have got us to the 100k mark, so seems reasonable to reward them for this accomplishment. And since I don't want to reward simply based on # of posts per person, the Thanks Contest will reward for the posts that are most meaningful and well received by the nexusfi.com (formerly BMT) members.
Thoughts? Possible prizes for consideration are things like an iPad and anything preferably trading related, like books or e-books for instance.
