Multicharts compatible with Velocity Futures?

I acquired MC during their 2 for 1 promotion, I have been testing strategies with VCAP via TTFIX adapter.. so that it is clear MC will work RT with any TTFIX provider.. so anyone that gives your TTIFX Adapter will work with MC, including their new MC7... as Mike stated, TT is a RT feed, so there is no backfill... but then again, so is ZF/Rithmic and CQG (unless you get historical added) ... so best to always use another alternative for backfill, or just setup QM to capture the data and have it running 24x7... …

All,

I could have swore I read that you can combine IQ with the TT feed so I have backfill.. Is this true or am I imagining things? I didn't see this option anywhere on the QM or the platform.

In QuoteManager, you'll setup two separate instruments (one for TT, one for IQFeed).

Then in MultiCharts, when you load a chart, you can specify that IQFeed source is for historical, and TT source is for live. Or, I would say just use solely IQFeed for charting, and then do symbol mapping to "map" the TT symbol to the IQFeed symbol if you want to trade from the chart.
