hi every one,
i try to use the paper account and real account of interactive brokers platform in different computers but i can't access to data by the paper account !!!
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
The problem is when i'm just connected through the real account without access to data I cannot give data with paper account through an other computer !! is it a problem with ip address !!
The problem still exists although allows the new ip address,when i disconnect the real account the paper account is ok but i need to connect the real and paper account in the same time !!
I just tried it and I didnt have any issues... i used TWS on two separate computers, one with IB Demo and the other with IB real... and just to clarify, I am subscribed to RT Market Data within my real account....
I would suggest you reach out to their tech support, there might be something with your setup...
that is very funky... and if nothing changed from your settings within the account management, maybe it indicates that IBKR changed something.. I would just reach out to them and let them know there is an issue.
As sysot1t suggested, you are probably better off contacting IB. This has been almost 4 hours since your first post about it and you have mentioned that this started last week. This is alot of wasted time. Have you contacted IB via chat, you probably would have had your answer by now. For these type off issues, this is always a good idea to go directly to the vendor first.
