Cannot connect to TT feed (Crossland) using Multicharts 7. I believe all settings are correct (I can establish connection with other platforms i.e. Sierra), but Multicharts keeps connecting and freezes completely in case I try to hit disconnect or edit the connection. Any suggestions? Thank you.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Yes, I have. They said they need to connect to my comp to further investigate, which is not possible now. So that I thought I might not be the only one with such a problem and have asked here.
7 beta 2 locks up all the time for me, I can never connect to TT with it. Beta 1 worked fine, I'd like to go back to it... Beta 2 has not worked one single time so far. I've not had time to contact support as I was moving, but if you do and can find the beta 1 download file, please send to me...
Reminder that between now and June ALL platforms that trade the CME will be coming out with one if not two updates that will be mandatory if you trade the CME. That is to meet a new CME requirement that adds a field or two to its message strings.
I know Rithmic came out with an update two days ago and TT with one yesterday, but I'd expect at least one more before the deadline approaches.
If you do not update your platform, your orders will be rejected.
In short, if the broker technology requires input from the user at client (NinjaTrader application) level then yes, you will be able to configure the location. This location (as I understand) is not the location of the box but the physical location of …
Not sure what's up with MC/TT but I'd imagine they want to get the next beta out supporting the new APIs.
yeah, I am on 7 beta 2. I've already requested Multi to get the beta 1, but in the meantime I was abl to get beta 2 connected to TT. It is strange and I am not sure if it was the real reason, but as soon as I changed my comp clock to US Eastern time, Multi got the connection. Can be coincidence, nevertheless it is working so far.
Update of my previous post: Multi says it is connected to TT (green), but I get no data, cannot setup symbols, etc. There is clearly something wrong with TT fix implementation in beta 2. There are also hung up processes when I exit Multi (one of them is fix server), which need to be manually closed in task manager.
Mine won't go out of Orange, and it freezes MC - have to end task. Have tried everything... short of contacting support, which is the next step I guess. Changed nothing from beta 1 when it worked.
