do you think it is possible to have datafeed myself (not sierra chart datafeed) but activate exchange fee on sierra chart site to make this datafeed real-time? Or I need to have sierra chart datafeed first to activate exchange fee (real time)?

Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I know SC would prefer to use their datafeed however I have been using CQG datafeed for two years now and have never had any issues.
Not sure what SC's plans are for continuing to support other datafeeds, you may want to find out as I believe they have said they would no longer be providing support for a few of them as it causes them too many issues.
I use Rithmic datafeed. Sierra supports quite a few data feeds. I simply pay a monthly fee which takes care of the datafeed and the charting fee. Hope this helps.
Hi, whom do you pay Rithmic datafeed, Sierra chart or other company like broker? If you pay to broker for Rithmic datafeed, do you pay exchangee fee (for real time) to your broker or sierra chart?
This denali data should be part of you subspriction, if you want real-time data, you have to pay for it extra. Normally the broker charges for real-time data and most retail-traders pay the non-pro fees, the real problem is, without an account you have to pay pro fees, which is very expensive (CME: for all 4 exchanges you have to pay $ 420.-- if you want real-time data. $ 105.--/month for each exchange). So if you don't have an account with any broker, you should open an account and fund it with the minimum required amount to get non-pro fees (most brokers charge $ 30.--/month for the bundle of all 4 CME exchanges.
Hello... Just to be clear, I have a brokerage account with (TradePro Futures) who setup my actual trading account with IronBeam. My broker told me last night that Rithmic invoices Ironbeam and then Ironbeam charges my account.
That was interesting because I always thought that the rithmic charge came from Sierra, but apparently, it does not.
I also asked him if you can "activate Exchange via Sierra Charts and at the same time not to have a subscription"... your words... but he said he didn't understand that part of the question.
I hope this helps a bit. It was a good exercise for me as well.
