Just do it. Windows 10 has been out for years.
I had Windows 7, skipped Windows 8, and took the free upgrade to Windows 10 shortly after it came out as I didn't want to have to pay for it later.
There were a few issues with the automatic software update feature when a Windows update or two caused problems for customers, and everybody had updated because Windows 10 did it automatically where as previously people could update when they wanted. But now updates can be paused for seven days and presumably Windows also learned they need to be a lot more careful that any updates are rigorously tested and perfect before release.
Once installed I would go through all the settings, especially security settings and switch anything off you don't want. The Update Delivery Optimisation setting for instance can allow your computer to be used like a server to download software for other computers which probably isn't what you want.
You do not win as a trader, you just get to play again the next day. If that game doesn’t appeal to you then you should not trade. Gary Norden
FWIW, the Free upgrade from Win 7 is still possible just search on the web for instructions. I think the last place I saw was a Can't site with instructions.
Google also recommended this to me,it told me that i need to creat a Windows 10 installation media then install Windows 10 on computer,i thought what i need to do was too complicated, so I didn't do it at that time.
Now,i will try it,thank you.
I loved Windows 7 and 8, and Windows 10 is better.
If you missed the deadline for the free conversion, then pay for it and get the newer system. If you are able to trade, you are able to pay the small amount of money for the upgrade.
Being left behind is not a reasonable choice. Over time, Windows will continue to evolve, but it won't, for you, if you are stuck in a version that is no longer updated or maintained. I am not sure how long Win 7 or 8 will be maintained, but there will be an end date.
Aside from the functional enhancements, there's the simple matter of bug fixes and security fixes. You need to know that your system will have the latest security patches. Windows 10 receives an update approximately every month, and sometimes more often.
The very small expense, if you have to pay it, is more than worth it.

If for some reason, the upgrade will not accept your license you can purchase a valid license on Ebay, Amazon or directly from MSFT. The ones on Ebay seem very cheap but they seem to work...
(not sure how they sell them this cheap) Under $10.00
