Hi Andrew,
I like to use MP with de VA zone.
In the last chart ZN for example if ZN break the VA high during a certain time, we will have a opportunity to see and touch the Poc.
"This area" (in my chart) is VA zone.
Bye
The original source of the method is outlined in "The Secrets of Traders" by Larry Levine, he attributes it to a 'market profile technique'. Of course that does not make it true . I don't have the manual here so can't offer more detail than that - sadly (well actually deliberately) it is one of the publications I have pretty much forgotten.
why we use a chart in 30 minutes may be the fact that CBOT referenced in these handbooks.
In fact, statistics and backtests conducted by CBOT, the best unit of time is 28 minutes. Therefore, we use 30 minutes as the unit of time reference.
For the manual, the better, in my opinion, Mind Over Market J.F. Dalton.
Andrew,
For the charts, if I can, I'll do.
But today with ZN TBonds, they decided for instance, to visit the 12/16/2009. Up, up...
For this old day, on my chart the VA high is : 117'125 POC : 117'105
VA Low : 117'055.
At this time (11:53 am) we are exactly at 117'105.
But it's so easy and so simple to explain after the facts. I don't like this.
We can just notice, points used.
Thank you.
Recently I started to look on MP more deeply, so I'm trying to know more about it, especially, right now I'm thinking a lot about Delta neutral point/level intraday, it's seems quite obvious border for bull/bears, but before make any conclusions need to collect/analyze for fact.
When I saw your charts and explanations I've treated that with great interest, as I like how you do it.
That's why I will be appreciated to you if you will continue and if it might happen so, that I could be helpful too, that would be great.
Hegh, CBOT resources...it were something really very good, but as I've noted when they merged with CME and got one web-site CBOT learning resources disappeared.
If you know by chance where CBOT learning resources still could be found please not find difficult to tell about that.
Thank you in advance.
