the reason for setups at 5:00 p.m. cst. " likely reasons " ...
1. This is when the European markets are closing ?
2. This is when the US after hours trading begins in the Futures ?
just some possibilities
If anyone else has a reason for why good trade setups tend to occur on a consistent basis at this time ( 5:00 p.m. cst. ) please share
The 7:00 p.m. setups and market moves is due to the Asian markets trading ,
it's just this 5:00 p.m. that need to put a finger on
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Thank you for the link to the different Market Hours
I went through my tick chart and scanned through all of the major Futures,
and still kept noticing that at 17:00 , there are some great setups ( these occur on a single candle usually ) and that candle tends to always be big
So maybe the action and setups that I'm seeing, are due to the Sydney Market having been open for 1 hr. = the fact that the New York stock exchange has been closed for 1 hour ( and this is also the time that you can enter new positions and not be held to the overnight margin requirements , if trading the Futures ) + the Tokyo Market is due to open 1 hr. from this time , so this could be their pre-market " action " I am seeing
I will try and take some screenshots of these setups over the weekend, and post them to the thread
