aaron from Chat with Traders has a meet up every 6 months or so...the AATA has a meeting once in while....i'm not really involved in any so other than that i'm not sure.
- IB super cheap commissions for N225M, unusable data (and i really tried, the volume data is crap)
- eSignal, Good data, does not play well with any other platform, L2 data can not be used in the few supporting 3rd party platforms (ninja, Investor RT)
- Sierra Charts, best platform, does not have osaka nikkei data supported in their feed, but you can use CQG data which has limited history and issue with session times (sessions are not reported correctly, issue with sunday/monday)
- MarketDelta (CQG IC rebadge), solid platform but same data issues, I liked Sierra better.
Personally I gave up on the mini nikkei recently, the RTH volatility has evaporated for the last 18 months.
Hmmmm didn't realise esignal didn't play well with NT but not surprising. If I go down this path I will only be getting their delayed data. Wonder if that will make a difference.
The guys at AMP recommended SC for the njm, I just assumed it would work
Drama after drama, but I will crack as this is the only market time I can trade
Probably also depends on your trading style, if you are not planning on using orderflow and cumulative delta related charts / indicators than IB data might be appropriate.
I did use IB for my daily/weekly timeframe charts.
CQG does work well with SC, but all CQG data feeds for MJNK have an issue with their session weekly start time being record wrong, it is better documented in the SC forum.
The CQG feed is excellent for orderflow and CD related indicators.
